We Armenians should remember May 9 as the day of the liberation of Shushi...

We Armenians should remember May 9 as the day of the liberation of Shushi, not as the day of victory in the Artsakh Liberation War, because the war continued for another two years after the liberation of Shushi, which was a very difficult period. Our true Victory Day should have been marked on May 12, because on May 12, 1994, a ceasefire was signed between the Armenian and Azerbaijani armed forces following our military victory. However, the neo-Bolshevik traitors operating in Armenia did not declare that day as Victory Day and instead decided to turn May 9 into our “Victory Day” in order to merge it with the victory day of their “Great Patriotic War,” depriving us of having a separate national victory day. Presenting the liberation of Shushi as the day of victory in the Artsakh Liberation War is like Russians celebrating the victory at the Battle of Stalingrad instead of the capture of Berlin.

This was a malicious conspiracy by the white Turks and their anti-Armenian collaborators. Our compatriots’ participation in the Second World War was, in reality, a disaster rather than a victory, because not only did hundreds of thousands of Armenians die or become maimed for nothing, but atheistic and anti-national Marxism also emerged victorious from that war due to the full support and participation of the capitalist West. Our participation in that war was simply a tragedy and could even be considered a second genocide, and it is one of the main reasons why our population has not grown over the last 80 years.

Our enemies have mixed everything together so that we would forget our true Victory Day, and they did everything possible to steal that victory from us during the treacherous 44-day war. In any case, our next Victory Day will be the day when we bring Baku completely to its knees and inflict a crushing defeat upon it. And that day will definitely come.
