The return of Artsakh’s people to occupied Artsakh to live under Azerbaijani rule by no means “raises the Artsakh question.”...

The return of Artsakh’s people to occupied Artsakh to live under Azerbaijani rule by no means “raises the Artsakh question.” Only a petty, servile traitor would make such a demand — never a dignified Armenian nationalist. Talks like that simply anger me greatly. The tyrant in Baku, fully aware that Artsakh has never been theirs, in 26 years NEVER demanded that Azerbaijanis go live under Armenian rule in “Karabakh”; instead he demanded that Armenian forces withdraw from “their” territory and recognize “Karabakh” as part of Azerbaijan. This is further proof that our enemies show more sober, pragmatic approaches than we do, because they better understand the real way this world is governed. They understand better than we do that, on this planet — and especially in this region — there is absolutely no place for the weak. They know it’s meaningless to live somewhere if your army does not guarantee the security of that territory.

Therefore, “raising the Artsakh question” would mean demanding that Azerbaijan’s armed forces leave Artsakh, that Artsakh be immediately and completely united with Armenia, and that Artsakh be recognized by Baku as an inseparable part of Armenia. Yet in our political arena the incompetent, groveling, spineless neo-Bolsheviks could not even imagine making such a demand to the enemy, because they are all traitors through and through who long ago trampled the true interests of the Armenian nation and the Armenian statehood. For decades they have betrayed the goals of the Armenian liberation struggle and one day they will answer for it. You may think all this sounds once again “unrealistic” and “extreme,” but know well that ALL our martyred freedom fighters would undoubtedly have signed under everything written here.

We must no longer live like slaves under the authority of the enemy — we have done that enough in our history. That dark chapter must be finally closed and a completely new victorious and glorious page opened in our nation’s history. We do not need women and children to go live in occupied Artsakh only for us later in Yerevan to hear that the same kind of massacre took place in Stepanakert as decades ago in Sumgait and Baku. Our return to Artsakh must — and will — happen without a doubt, but only when we dictate our will and our terms to the enemy. That return will be not only with suitcases, but more importantly — with weapons…
