Over the past several years, many people have told me...

Over the past several years, many people have told me, "Join the NDA (National Democratic Axis)," or asked me, "Why don't you join the NDA?" Whenever I declined and explained my reasons, many assumed I was simply being arrogant. But that is, of course, nonsense, because the reasons I have given are based on facts and are entirely justified.

There are many reasons why I have never wanted to join or even support them, despite the fact that we do agree on certain issues, such as becoming the legal successor of the First Republic or opposing the anti-Armenian policies pursued by the Kremlin.

In any case, the time has come for me to clearly state why I have not joined them.

First, they spend far more time promoting Western, especially American, narratives than promoting pure Armenian nationalism, and they have almost never criticized the West's double standards. They also frequently place false and empty hopes in the West. For that reason, they are more "pro-Western" than nationalist.

Second, the members of the NDA council, while presenting themselves as "pro-Western," have made major political mistakes during critical moments since 2008 and have, in practice, adopted pro-Russian positions. For example, they supported Levon Ter-Petrosyan in 2008, Raffi Hovannisian in 2013, Nikol in 2018, and Bagrat in 2022, all of whom are agents of the Kremlin and other anti-Armenian forces. They did this either out of political opportunism or because they were carrying out specific instructions, and neither explanation is acceptable to me. Saying, "We made a mistake," while continuing to repeat the same mistakes is equally unacceptable.

Third, the NDA does not condemn Zionism as an anti-Armenian political movement that, together with the Turks and the Russians, operates against our independent statehood. Members of its council have repeatedly expressed sympathy toward Jews, and now they even say that "it is time to shatter anti-Israeli stereotypes." I would sooner see the back of my own head than support or join a political movement that sympathizes with Jews.

It is also suspicious that they were able to register a political party and operate actively in Armenia, especially after the attack on the police station in 2016, because in Armenia, in order to register a political party and participate in elections, you have to receive the Kremlin's "approval." I am not saying any of this to insult any individual or group. I am simply presenting the facts and reasons why I have not joined them so that people will stop accusing me of being "arrogant."

When I first moved to Armenia, I was looking for an Armenian nationalist political force—even a small one—that I could join and contribute to. But the more I searched, the more disappointed I became. That is why, one year after the war, I decided to found such a movement myself, through my own efforts and without anyone's help, as an unknown repatriate and an ordinary soldier, because I wanted Armenian nationalists like myself to have a platform in the political arena.

Our movement promotes exclusively Armenian nationalist ideas, and unlike every other political force, we are concerned not with political correctness but with the truth. The goal of Hosank is to unite the new generation of Armenian nationalists around those ideas and around the truth, so that when the coming great crisis arrives and all the treacherous political parties collapse under the weight of their own lies, our movement will emerge as Armenia's leading national political force.

Therefore, do not tell me to join this group or that one. Compromise is not possible. Instead, join or support Hosank and become part of the future Armenian National Revolution: hosank.net/en/join
