On May 12, 1994, a ceasefire was signed between the armed forces of Armenia and Azerbaijan following our military victory, as Artsakh had been liberated from Azerbaijani terrorists. Sadly, however, that victory was never politically consolidated by the neo-Bolshevik traitors ruling Armenia at the time, who were taking their orders from the Kremlin.
It is tragic that even today our nation does not fully recognize the importance of this date. Everyone knows about May 9, which marks the liberation of Shushi, not the victory of the Artsakh Liberation War itself. This was done deliberately so that we would never have a separate Victory Day, because a people who celebrate victory begin to develop a victorious mindset. Today, while the treacherous and deceitful scoundrels of this rotten system once again mislead the people during their circus-like campaigns by speaking of “real peace,” “dignified peace,” and “guaranteed peace,” let us, the conscious and dignified Armenians, on this day — our true Victory Day — remember one simple truth: without struggle and victory, there can be no security or peace of any kind.
During the treacherous 44-day war of 2020, our enemies conspiratorially stole that victory from us, but they cannot steal the memory of that victory and the unshakable faith that in the future we, as a nation, will forge an even greater victory with our unbreakable will and relentless struggle — this time by bringing Baku to its knees once and for all and fragmenting the terrorist state of Azerbaijan into several pieces. This is how we will open the path toward the creation of a Greater Armenia. This is not only our supreme goal and sacred historical mission, but also our divinely ordained destiny.
