Compared to the large and system-entrenched political forces, I don’t have such connections, money, or levers of power. Naturally, the resources of either myself or "Hosank" cannot be compared to theirs. In that regard, the difference is night and day. Still, I have always known that their large but ideologically empty and meaningless parties—filled with opportunistic scoundrels—are nothing more than balloons that could burst with the lightest touch of a needle. And one day, that is exactly what will happen.
Nevertheless, I possess one resource, one crucial advantage, that I see none of them—or anyone else—has. And that resource is the attention of young Armenian nationalists (aged 14–25), who follow and respond to our movement through various social media platforms—both from Armenia and the diaspora—expressing their sympathy and support for me or for "Hosank." I can confidently say that, aside from "Hosank," there is no other political organization among the Armenian people that can attract nationalist youth in the name of an idea and a mission. Several times over the past two years, while walking down the streets of Yerevan, young men like that have approached me and asked to take a picture with me. Most of them don’t even know who the majority of the MPs in the National Assembly are—but they know who I am and follow me attentively, even though the media almost never says or writes anything about me (and when they do, it’s usually neutral or negative), while they showcase the names and faces of political prostitutes every single day.
Since the day I founded this movement three and a half years ago—as an unknown repatriate and an ordinary soldier—I’ve gone through many disappointments and trials. Thoughts of quitting or surrendering have come and gone repeatedly, as the situation often seemed hopeless. But it was the support and voice of these young people that rekindled hope in me—to continue doing what I had started. Even today, there are young members who, from various provinces, come consistently and dutifully to participate in our meetings. All of this became a sign for me—a sign from the Creator—that I have chosen the right path and established a connection with something vital, because a movement capable of attracting youth already holds the future in its hands.
I have come to understand that no matter how many liars, traitors, communists, ignoramuses, and petty crooks exist in our society today, I will continue this struggle for the sake of these conscious young people—so that in the future, during their mature years, they will have a solid political foundation to stand on and build a stable Armenian state. I took personal responsibility in this matter and felt obligated to continue the fight, because I saw that if I don’t do it, no one else will—and no one else can. I saw that no matter how hopeless the situation may seem, there is always a way out, always a solution. The only secret lies in having unbreakable will and unwavering faith.
Only by uniting the new generation of nationalist, devoted, and "haykazun" youth around a national, disciplined, and ideological political movement can we have any hope of building a true national state in the future and saving our independent statehood from destruction. Our mission is to plant the seeds of a future independent, united, and powerful Armenia—Greater Armenia—and to water those seeds day by day with our unyielding struggle.
