A few days ago I wrote an article showing how many times Russia has saved the Turks from crises and critical moments over the last 250 years, such as in 1798, 1920, and 2016. This shows that the project of Pan-Turanism or Pan-Turkism is not an anti-Russian program, but rather one that serves Russia’s own imperial interests, since both sides strongly oppose the rebirth in this region of an independent, united, and powerful Armenia that would include most of our historical lands.

If the Pan-Turanism agenda contradicts Russia’s policies, then why was Moscow constantly saying before the 2020 war that Armenia should give the “five regions” to Azerbaijan in order to resolve the “Karabakh issue” in a “peaceful” way—while fully understanding that without those five regions surrounding Artsakh we would lose all of Artsakh, which would open the road for Pan-Turanism? That is exactly what happened after our humiliating defeat in the war, because the Russian “peacekeepers” in reality did nothing to ensure the security of the Armenian population. They did not even have the intention to do so, because everything had been planned in advance with the tyrant of Baku and the traitorous neo-Bolsheviks operating in Armenia.

This is the most important modern lesson for the Armenian nation: we must never place our security in the hands of a foreign country, especially a deceitful “ally” like Russia. If our army does not secure and guarantee the safety of our land, then it can already be said that the land is occupied. Of course we can have allies, but on every square meter of Armenian soil there must stand an Armenian soldier.

What kind of “anti-Turkish” state would urge its “ally” to give its lands directly to the Turks, while fully knowing that for the Turks Artsakh was merely an obstacle on the road to creating Pan-Turanism? A state that truly opposes the Pan-Turanian agenda would do everything to ensure that Armenia becomes the most powerful state in this region, not constantly stab Armenia in the back and weaken it, as the Kremlin has always done.

Nzhdeh understood all of this well a hundred years ago when he said:

“Russian Bolshevism and the Near Eastern objectives of Turk-Tatar Pan-Islamism coincide and harmonize with each other. The Armenian land is sacrificed for the realization of these diabolical plans.”

Therefore, the danger of Pan-Turanism will never disappear until the cancer of neo-Bolshevism, which has been destroying our nation from within for decades, is eliminated in our country. The Russian Federation must collapse from within during the coming great global crisis so that the anti-Armenian objectives of the Turks will fail, and the Armenian nation will be able to fight the enemy unchained until justice is achieved.
