Yesterday, September 4, 2025, retired U.S. Army Green Beret Lieutenant Colonel Anthony Aguilar and former Army intelligence officer Josephine Guilbeault disrupted a U.S. Senate session, protesting U.S. support for Israel and accusing lawmakers of complicity in the genocide in Gaza, after which they were arrested by police.
These arrests sparked wide public reaction and became part of a growing movement of veterans opposing current U.S. foreign policy.
In the video, the lieutenant colonel says, “Every American sitting at home right now needs to realize that you are paying for a genocide.”
And the intelligence officer says, “Rise up, America! It’s time for us to take this country back from corrupt politicians.”
