We have had many impressive royal states, but one of the most unique and powerful among them was the Bagratuni royal dynasty. Five centuries after losing our statehood, they managed to restore the Armenian Kingdom amidst the Arab-Muslim swamp and instill fear in their enemies. Through their sacrifices, the Bagratunis also proved to us that being powerless and submissive is not just a weakness but a sin—one that has no place in this world immersed in eternal struggle. The only way to atone for this sin is to show your strength. They embodied the timeless saying, "Might makes right". The Bagratuni royal dynasty remains one of the finest examples of courage and nobility.
