“The ‘core Armenian problem’ lies in turning the Armenian masses, who have been eroded under foreign yokes, back into a nation. Let us understand this. And this is possible only through political monism — something that our race, Tseghakronism, grants us. The Armenian — still without a homeland — became partisan, became fragmented — a circumstance because of which the highly promising rebirth that had begun in the time of the Nazaryans remained incomplete.
For this reason, Armenianhood was unable to overcome its internal weaknesses — unable to renew itself in a racial/national sense, to be restored, to become whole as a nation. By this — without at all ignoring external causes — by this too must be explained both the calamities our people have suffered and the present-day powerless and incapable condition.”
