By the call of destiny, I decided to enter politics, because Armenia — standing on the brink of destruction — deserves a political leader who does not sell out and does not make compromises to fill his pockets or become a little more famous. It deserves a political leader who stands outside and fully against this anti-Armenian neo-Bolshevik system. I have not come all this way and done all this work just to become the servant of some oligarch. That would be a betrayal of the ideals I have carried throughout my conscious life — ideals that, through years of persistent effort, I am slowly turning into reality.

Everything I do, I do to awaken nationalism in the new generation and to show them the right path, so that our Fatherland may truly have a victorious and glorious future.

Therefore, as a former university adjunct professor, an unknown repatriate, and an ordinary soldier, I have entered politics not to merely take part or occupy a position, but — through my unbreakable will — to completely and radically change the course of our politics. I am confident in the victory of our struggle, for there is no power in the universe stronger than an idea whose time has come.
