Speech/Lecture #1
In front of Nzhdeh’s statue
Dear and decent compatriots,
Today is New Year’s and last year our external enemies, with the willing collaboration of our internal enemies they fully conquered Artsakh and ethnically cleansed all Armenians there. With this, our enemies want to indirectly tell Armenians living in the Diaspora and in Armenia that they are supposedly turning the last page of our history. With this they also want to tell us to never have hopes in rising again.
They want to convince us that all is lost so that without a fight we will put down our arms and hand over our blood bought sovereignty and statehood to them on a silver platter.
However, we the members and supporters of the new Racialist political movement – Hosank are doing our first rally today and we are gathered here to clearly tell our compatriots and especially our enemies that our struggle is just beginning and we are not turning the last page of our history, but instead opening a whole new chapter, a new era that with our formidable will we will write in the history books with golden letters.
Every defeat and lost war can give rise to a new upsurge. Every disaster can give a new charge to a people and any oppression can become the father of a new rebirth and we will show this over the years with our dedication and hard work.
We will advance our Movement in order to prove to the world that the blood of those who died and were martyred for Artsakh was not in vain, because the future national state and victorious army born from our Movement will be built for their memory.
We are also gathered here not to celebrate New Year’s, but rather to celebrate the 138th birthday of our Commander Garegin Nzhdeh, because his glorious memory forces us to never lose hope, never retreat and never surrender. Let his blazing spirit continue to inspire us and give us strength in this decisive struggle for our nation and fatherland.
Glory to Nzhdeh’s immortal memory. This isn’t the end, this is only the beginning.
