People believe that in a democracy—or more precisely, in a democratic
dictatorship—electoral fraud and corruption happen during the elections.
However, this is not entirely true, because the real violations and
corruption occur beforehand. Financially powerful forces and the media
under their control pre-select their puppet candidates long before
election day, ensuring that the naïve and uninformed majority is left
choosing between them.
By doing this, the agency networks and the
capitalist-criminal oligarchs and media barons collaborating with them
guarantee that no matter what the majority of the people do or whom they
vote for, the outcome will always be in their favor. As a result, they
have no need to commit blatant fraud on election day, since that would
risk shattering the illusion of “democracy.” The actual election results
are meaningless to them, and they likely do not even pay much
attention, as it makes no difference which of their approved political
prostitute wins. In reality, we are simply dealing with the same face
wearing different masks, and this phenomenon is universal across all
democratic dictatorships.
The latest and most obvious example of
this in Armenia is the elections in Gyumri, where the so-called
“opposition”—made up of open neo-Bolsheviks from the Communist Party and
its affiliates—pretends to fight against the hidden neo-Bolsheviks of
the ruling forces. When elections take place under such conditions, with
no independent, honorable, or nationalist candidates, the only logical
and right response is for the people to boycott the process by writing
on their ballot: "You are all the same."
