Due to the foreign diplomatic actions of the current incompetent and anti-national government, many of our compatriots are under the impression that Pashinyan and his cowardly clique are pursuing a so-called "anti-Russian" policy. This misunderstanding is most prominently spread by the current fake "opposition"—the same "opposition" that, since 2018, has claimed that Armenia's "Velvet Revolution" was also an "anti-Russian" and "Soros-funded" revolution, allegedly benefiting only the West. However, the reality is almost entirely the opposite. That regime change (which could not have occurred without the intervention of the FSB and other Russian networks) and the current superficial "anti-Russian" actions—such as symbolic statements about leaving the CSTO (even if this happens, it won’t change much under these circumstances), removing Russian troops from Zvartnots Airport, signing agreements with the U.S., and other steps that do not bring about radical change—mostly serve Russia's interests.

Of course, this does not mean that such events were not in line with or beneficial to Western interests. I am convinced that Russia’s and the West's interests periodically align on such matters. After all, let us not forget that the regime change in 2018 was welcomed by both the West and Russia. The fact that Pashinyan's actions are praised by the West and not seriously obstructed by Russia suggests that there is likely some form of agreement between them that we are unaware of.

This situation is much deeper than we imagine. If we only view it as a battle between "Soros" and "pro-Russian" forces, we will fail to understand what is happening to us and remain in confusion. George Soros is undeniably a criminal international billionaire Zionist who creates chaos worldwide with his money, but his role in Armenia has been exaggerated and used as a decoy by Russian intelligence and the Armenian neo-Bolsheviks under their control to conceal Kremlin's actions. This only creates more chaos and diverts our compatriots from the truth.

It is no coincidence that Soros’ offices were opened in Armenia during the tenure of Robert Kocharyan, who can arguably be considered the most pro-Russian figure among Armenia’s four leaders. Nor is it coincidental that in the past decade, pro-Russian figures in Armenia have frequently invoked Soros’ name, blaming the "Sorosian" forces for the defeat in the treacherous 44-day war and the loss of Artsakh, to ensure that the FSB’s name is never mentioned. Russia itself began sowing anti-Russian and "Sorosian" narratives in Armenia over 20 years ago to have a scapegoat when it pursued anti-Armenian policies against Armenia’s independence.

The superficial "anti-Russian" actions of this government are beneficial to the Kremlin because they lay the groundwork for a future justification to refrain from aiding Armenia—particularly when Russia gives Azerbaijan the green light to attack. At that point, its inaction (and covert support for Azerbaijan) will be justified by claiming that Armenia’s government pursued a "pro-Western" policy. After this justification, Russia could deploy troops to Armenia, stop the war, and present itself as a "savior," just as it did in Artsakh. This time, however, it would completely dismantle our army, dissolve our independence, and fragment Armenia entirely. In short, what was done to Artsakh, they intend to do to all of Armenia.

Russia is a 300-year-old empire, and its policies are multi-layered, much like their Matryoshka dolls. We cannot grasp its long-term strategy if we continue to think in a linear, short-sighted, and simplistic manner. This is why we have remained trapped in this Russo-Turkish cage for over two centuries. If we wish to finally escape this miserable trap, we must first be honest with ourselves and deeply understand their policies and the dark plans stemming from them against Armenia's independence.
