Ten years ago, on the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, I made my last visit to the memorial in California dedicated to the victims of the genocide. At that time, it became very clear to me that returning to Armenia is one of the most powerful ways to show our enemies that they failed to fully carry out their dark mission. That was one of the main reasons why, a year later, I made that decisive move to the Armenian homeland with a one-way ticket. Every Armenian's return to the Fatherland is the equivalent of a hundred rockets aimed at Turkey. From now on, in addition to remembering the victims of the genocide on this day, let us also remember the necessity of delivering justice—because if we don’t punish and bring evil to trial one day, it will only spread and cause even greater harm to us.
