At first glance, when reading these newspaper headlines or hearing this news, many will get the impression that the current Nikol-led government is once again taking a pro-Western and anti-Russian step. However, the reality is quite the opposite. Russia, having been an empire for over 300 years, acts in a calculated manner—seeing several steps ahead. This might seem incomprehensible to a nation like ours, which is barely managing to restore and maintain the independence of its small state.
In reality, this move—the rejection of a Russian consulate opening in Syunik, and instead, the upcoming opening of a French consulate in Goris—is beneficial to the Kremlin, or more precisely, serves the long-term goals of the Russian–Turkish–Zionist alliance. This seemingly “anti-Russian” step, in fact, supports Russia’s anti-Armenian agenda. While it may appear contradictory and strange at first glance, it is actually logical—especially if we learn the lessons of 2018 and 2020. At that time, a “pro-Western Soros-led revolution” took place with the Kremlin’s blessing, so that the loss of Artsakh would be blamed on those same "pro-Western Soros" forces, thereby absolving Russia of responsibility. Now, as I have already mentioned, they want to apply the same scheme against all of Armenia that they used against Artsakh.
Most likely, it is by Kremlin orders that the current government is “rejecting” Russia and pursuing a “pro-Western” diplomacy, so that later, at the right moment, Russia can once again (as it did during the 44-day treacherous war) give the green light to the Baku tyrant to launch an attack—this time against Syunik. Russia will then use the absence of a consulate in Syunik and Nikol’s “pro-Western” moves as justification to sit back with folded arms and watch as the Turks attack Armenia—only to once again appear as the “savior,” just like they did in Artsakh. That “salvation,” of course, will come at the highest cost for our people, as it will mean the final dismantling of our army and the loss of our independence—thus completing the Armenian Genocide.
We should not doubt for even a second that this is the goal of our sworn enemies. The current traitorous government, by constantly babbling about “peace,” is simply lulling us into complacency—just like the traitorous leaders before Nikol did, by claiming that “there is no military solution to the Karabakh issue.” But as it turned out, there very much was a military solution—just not in our favor. And now, aside from threats from Baku and talk of the “Western Azerbaijan” project, we hear nothing else. At this point, it's more believable that a camel could pass through the eye of a needle than believing a single word from these former and current nation-betraying leaders.
When we analyze all this with a clear mind, we will understand our enemies' intentions—if we are honest with ourselves and don’t engage in self-deception. Truly understanding and recognizing this goal is the first step toward finding solutions to our major problems. Only after that will we be able to take the right and strategic steps to save our country from total destruction.
